Minister Opening at Lakeview Lakeview Church of Christ, a well-established, exciting, and diverse community of faith dedicated to serving God in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, is seeking a full time minister for our congregation of 70 + members, the majority of whom are under 40. This person should be a flexible, motivated, and humble individual, who has a love for people, an appreciation of urban living, and a desire to be involved in the community. The minister will encourage the spiritual development of our members through sermons, classes, counseling and guidance, support existing ministries, and assist in developing a vision for future growth, while maintaining unity within the ethnic and socio-economic diversity of our family. A Master of Divinity degree is preferred. A competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and the cost of living in Chicago will be offered to the successful candidate. |
