Thank you for visiting our website! We are a diverse community of faith that strives to please God as we work for His kingdom and find unity in Christ. We are honored by your inquiry and hope that your visit will be informative as well as encouraging.

You will find information that will help describe our service to God through different opportunities not only in the neighborhood of Uptown but throughout the Chicagoland area. There is also information about the different parts of our family which give people an outlet to using their individual and collective talents to serve.

This Sunday's service (July 22) will be non-traditional and refreshingly different. Join us for a special observance of Sabbath, beginning at 10:30am and ending at 2:00pm. The LVCC family will enjoy a morning of sharing food - brunch - with one another and distributing groceries to patrons of the New Seed Food Pantry. We will also have sabbath-oriented activities (which, to the untrained ear will sound like an oxymoron) available. And, importantly, we will be sharing together in remembering the sacrifice of Christ and celebrating the resurrection of Christ. All are welcome.
